Hello there !
My name is Stephanie Moody, I'm a Yoga teacher and Yoga Therapist, with 13 years teaching experience.
My journey on this path began in England where i grew up - moving to London from the countryside & woods of Devon, to study Psychology at University, ( minors in Philosophy and Sociology .)
Finishing university with a BSC Honours, i felt called to explore my curiosity for travel and spirituality.
I dived right in (thinking maybe i could have a shot at enlightenment😂) - joined three intensive Meditation retreats, in Australia, Thailand and India - which laid the groundwork for the depth , insight and experience in my therapeutic teachings today.
Over the years i attended and gained experience in Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork workshops, studies and intensive retreats - learning from many wonderful wise and experienced senior teachers & masters.
Studies and styles of Yoga include Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga , Hatha / Tantra Yoga and Classical Yoga such as Satyananda and Sivananda Styles, and of course Therapeutic Yoga (from the Viniyoga tradition ).
Understanding & experiencing Yoga as a path for profound transformation, and a deeper and richer uncovering of our amazing Spiritual selves, our authentic nature - A self that is connected , calm , radiant , balanced and healthy.
I completed my 420 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2009, and began to follow my dream of sharing this practical and yet profound way of achieving health, wellness and balance .
The following year i gained qualifications in Kids Yoga teacher training & began teaching yoga both to children, teens and adults and explored alternative healing techniques of Reiki and Theta Healing .
I've taught every age and ability - from 4 year old's in kids Yoga classes - to a grand old age of 91 years old gentleman!
In 2015 i completed 300 hrs in Yoga Therapy training in order to delve deeper into the truly therapeutic qualities of yoga , and to work individually with clients on a 1 on 1 basis.
Teaching regular weekly classes , I enjoy bringing a focus on alignment and technique - and infusing my classes with warmth, joy and a sense of playfulness.
One on one sessions can range from coaching and helping to deepen your yoga practice, to working with the tools of Ayurveda ; utilising specific Yoga Therapy practises , helping to provide a holistic remedy for a many physical, mental, psycho-spiritual and emotional issues.
I furthered my training in 2020 -completing a 100 Hr Meditation Teacher Training in Bali with renowned Yoga Coach & long time Meditation Teacher trainer Mark Breadner of Yoga Life Coach (March 2020 )
I've also years of experience working in the field of both mental health , and complex disabilities.
and ........I'm currently studying Holistic Counselling with Art Therapy .

2003- 2009 i experienced some major life changes and challenges.. - the combination of which led me to experience imbalances within my body/mind/spirit .
Discovering the healing power and therapeutic benefits of yoga, and committing to a regular practice of yoga, meditation and breathwork, I went from being stressed out and anxious, experiencing bouts of depression and insomnia......... to becoming a dedicated yoga practitioner (and a few years later - a teacher ), feeling calm, centred, positive and joyful. Yoga fundamentally changed me for the better, on all levels.
Like anyone else - i still experience ups and downs of life, however - everything is experienced on a much more even keel....when you transform from the inside, the outside tends to balance out also. I'm SO grateful for this path of Yoga , for my teachers and mentors - and all the ones that walked this path - this RoadMap to health and happiness before us !
Yoga and mindfulness practises have shaped the person i've become..... as a result my life has become more fulfilling, richer and harmonious.
It's my mission now, to help empower others with the tools of Yoga..... to lead individuals back to that same feeling within themselves : Of strength, peace and feeling connected again, healing on as many levels as possible .
Life is a gift, .......... why would we waste any moment of it on being anxious or stressed .... carrying pain or discomfort in our physical bodies...........when we can find a way to feel so much better - happier, healthier, stronger and to shine again ?
